Your billing information
Screenshots are read locally in your browser. Their extracted text is sent to our server to suggest app charges. CSVs and PDFs are sent to our server for text extraction. Original files and extracted text are processed transiently and are not deliberately stored or included in analytics.
Only upload information you are authorised to share. Crop screenshots to the app names and charges. Remove card details, billing addresses and unrelated personal information first.
Your report and contact details
After you confirm the charges and give contact permission, we process your store URL, email, reviewed charges and report. When the lead connection is available, these are saved in a private GitHub repository for the Sonder Sites team to review and follow up. The report states whether delivery succeeded. We do not send an automatic email or subscribe you to a mailing list.
Your report is also kept in this browser tab’s session storage so you can reopen it after refreshing. This copy is normally cleared when the tab is closed. Downloads you choose to save remain on your device. Avoid scanning sensitive information on a shared computer.
Contact Sonder Sites at tim@sondersites.com to request access to, or deletion of, a stored report, or to stop follow-up. Include the report ID if available. Reports are reviewed for deletion after 90 days unless an active service engagement requires retention.
Service providers and analytics
Vercel hosts the website and provides web analytics. We track events such as a started scan, upload format, report completion, download and booking clicks. We do not deliberately send your email, URL, bill contents or app names as analytics event properties. Hosting and security providers may process normal request metadata. GitHub and Vercel may process data outside Australia.
What the scan can prove
The report uses your reviewed charges, a maintained app catalogue and the HTML of up to three public storefront pages. It cannot read Shopify Admin, app dashboards, actual feature usage, campaign performance, sales attribution, customer accounts or backend activity.
A matching script is an integration clue, not proof that an app is in use or profitable. A missing script is not proof that an app is unused. Category overlap does not establish duplication. Every plan change or uninstall requires a human review and testing.
How savings are estimated
Monthly spend comes from the amounts and currency you confirm. Native alternatives may create a conditional saving from zero up to the relevant monthly charge, only if the free option meets your requirements and the paid charge can be cancelled. Annual estimates multiply the monthly upper bound by twelve. These are scenarios, not guaranteed or measured savings. We do not estimate savings from absent scripts or invent lower-plan prices.
Alternative features, eligibility and pricing can change. Follow the official app link and confirm the current terms before making a decision. This scan never changes your store.
